Utah to Honor the Late Rick Majerus

...  12 Basketball Utah   The University Of Utah will honor the late Rick Majerus, the greatest basketball coach in the University’s history, by hanging a sweater in the rafters of the Huntman Center.  He will join two players he coached who have their jerseys hung in the Huntman Center, Andre Miller and Keith Van Horn.  SALT LAKE CITY — When it comes to retirement ceremonies, the University of Utah’s tribute to former head coach Rick Majerus will certainly be warm and fuzzy — in a literal sense. At halftime of Saturday’s game against Colorado in the Huntsman Center, the Utes will hang a banner replicating the late coach’s trademark sweater. Colorado Get’s Their Football Coach

...  12 Teams Colorado Finally, our long winter, err late fall of Colorado’s discontent is over.  Or at least that is what the Buffalos are hoping for ever since they ‘fired’ Wayne Embree.  Out of the wilderness the Man to Lead Colorado is Mike MacIntyre.  Who? Yes that Mike MacIntyre from the runner-up team in the Football Power Football Conference, the WAC.  A team who is on it’s way to the Mountain West Conference. Colorado has hired San Jose State head coach Mike MacIntyre as its football coach, the school announced Monday. MacIntyre replaces Jon Embree, who was fired two weeks ago. Embree went 4-21 in two seasons with the Buffaloes. MacIntyre turned around the San Jose State program this year. The Spartans went 10-2 and are headed to the Military Bowl. They play Bowling Green on Dec. 27. It’s not clear whether MacIntyre will coach the Spartans in that game. San Jose State went 5-1 in the Western Athletic Conference this ...
