The sophomore desperately wants to practice so he can build off his strong spring start and prove he deserves to be USC’s No. 3 wide receiver.
But he also doesn’t want to come back too soon from the hamstring strain that has kept him out of action since March 8.
“I want to get back this week, but I’m not sure about that,” Farmer said. “It depends on how I feel and when I can run 100 percent.”
Considering his own estimate that the hamstring is only 60 percent sound, Farmer might not be back anytime soon.
